The video wouldn't upload both times I tried Friday and Saturday...so I'll have to try again later.
But our house is germ-infested right now... Kamryn has been sick all week...but has been doing better each day. However, now I have it really bad (stuffy nose, awful cough, can't sleep, etc) and Ryan I think is coming down with it! Rough night last night for all 3 of us! What a houseful of sickies!
Post again when I get the chance... :)

Went to the Doctors...and...
Well, we survived yesterday. Kamryn managed to sleep most of the afternoon yesterday---off and on---with coughs waking her up every 15 minutes or so. But she was soooo exhausted that she managed to calm down each time fairly quickly. I went in around 4:15 to wake her up so we could get ready to go to the doctor. I hate waking her up...especially when she is so so sick! I rubbed her back and asked if she wanted to get up--her response was "no..." (little whimpering voice and small shake of head) :) I left the room for a minute to put something away and then Kamryn screamed! It was like, "I don't want to get up...but I want you here!!" Funny girl. We got her up, bathed her and then left for the doctor.
On our way to the doctors---we weren't in the car more than 5 minutes and I looked back and saw her just struggling and struggling to keep her eyes open... poor thing!
We got to the Doctor and ended up waiting in the waiting room for 40 minutes!! Ahhh....she's hacking up a lung every 5 minutes and they can't get us back faster?!? I was a little annnoyed...but oh well. Kamryn practically fell asleep on my lap while we were waiting! (note*LOVE our Pediatrician...but he is always always sooo busy and behind!)
Went in and it was probably the best appointment we've ever had...partly because she had no energy to scream and fight with. (oh and btw she has gained 2 lbs in the past month! lol) He diagnosed her with a possible croup virus and a secondary ear infection. So we gave her the croup shot and she is now on antibiotics for her ear. Poor thing! I'm glad we got meds though. Hopefully this will all go away faster now!
Last night was a little better than the night before...but she had a harder time actually going to bed in the first place. Couldn't convince her to sleep till about 11...when WE were going to bed! BUT her fever broke last night! I was so relieved to not feel her burning hot anymore! (At the Dr. office she was up to 103 degree temp.) Thank goodness that is gone!
I think Ryan got up with her a few times through the night...what a good daddy!
This morning I had my 32 week Dr. Appointment around 10:30. Kamryn was so so miserable this morning. She cried and cried and cried when I had to give her to Ryan so I could get ready to go! She didn't want to watch anything, eat anything or play with anything...just wanted her Mommy! Then when she saw I was actually trying to GO somewhere, she totally flipped! It was so hard to resist just staying home and being with her---to hold and cuddle and comfort---with those puffy droopy eyes...but I quickly left her with Daddy and went to my appointment. (Appointment went well...baby is healthy and getting bigger...only 8 weeks left! Can't believe it!) :) While at the Dr., Ryan called me and said that Kamryn wanted to call me. (she had picked up his phone and started trying to talk on it. Ryan asked her if she wanted to call mommy and she said "yes") She didn't really talk on the phone, but I'm glad she liked it! I thought it was cute!
When I got home, she was so excited to see me...but still SO miserable. blotchy face and puffy eyes and she could barely walk! We sat down in the chair to snuggle, ate some lunch and then Daddy left for work. (Who she happily waved and said "bye bye" to... :) poor Daddy!) :)
After a difficult morning...she is finally down for a nap now...and hopefully she will be able to sleep. I think she's having a rougher time this afternoon than she did yesterday---even with the fever gone!
Thanks for all your support and comments. We really are doing okay...it's tiring, but I feel worse for her! It's never fun to see your child miserable and there isn't much you can do! I'm so grateful for current medicine and technology though...because if I had to do this 100 years ago, it'd be SO much worse! :)

It just breaks your heart, doesn't it?!

Poor Little Girl!
Kamryn is making good use of our new recliner today...
Wouldn't you like to spend YOUR day in a BIG chair like this?! *(With computer and TV and mom and dad at your beck and call!) :)*
HOWEVER, it comes at a price. Develop a cough and a 102 degree fever in less than 12 hours...and you'll get pampered!
Up all night last night...coughing is so bad that it wakes her up...loves the chair with and without mom/dad. We were watching Winnie the Pooh this morning. I was on the bed and she was on the chair. I looked over at her, totally zoning but watching the movie. Then turned away. When I looked back again, this is what I saw:
Poor thing! Laid her head down and was out cold in about 5 seconds!
(BUT...it only lasted 5 minutes, unfortunately, because of that awful cough!)
Needless to say, we're paying a visit to our pediatrician later this afternoon. Hopefully she'll get something to make her feel better and help her sleep!

Friday Funny-Kamryn Marching
Kamryn has figured out how to "march" lately! It is just too funny to watch sometimes! (Sorry it isn't the best video...but you get the idea!) :)

My Kids...getting so big! (secret message enclosed)
Kamryn is sure growing up fast! On Tuesday, we took her to her first dentist appointment! It went a lot better than we thought it would!
I found a Pediadontist (kids' dentist) near our house, at the beginning of January. I wasn't too impressed with their receptionist on the phone when I made the appointment, but decided to still go with it. I'm so glad I did! *When we got there, they were VERY friendly and happy to help with anything.
*There were a TON of kids there waiting to go in...which I think eased Kamryn a little bit. It's always easier to do something when you see someone else doing it! ;)
*AND the office and waiting room were decked out in DISNEY!! :) Winnie the pooh and Mickey mouse everywhere! :) (I had to lean over to Ryan and tell him that I promise I didn't pick this dentist because of their decor! I had NO idea! :) haha) But because Kamryn loves Mickey and Pooh, I'm sure that was fun for her too.
When it was our turn, we went back and talked with the dentist for a little bit. Kamryn got a bit nervous...but no crying or running. He talked to us about her diet, brushing her teeth, and fluoride. We found that we've been doing everything right up till now...so that was good. Then Ryan held Kamryn in his lap and laid her head on Dr. Smith's lap and he took a quick look. She was crying for a bit, but not too hard. (It's definitely got to be easier to be a kid dentist than a pediatrician! When the kids are screaming, their mouths are already open!!)
As he was looking at her teeth, he mentioned something about her parents doing a good job at getting her off the binkie already. Ryan and I looked at each other and said, "Actually, she still uses a binkie!" He was shocked! He said that by looking at her teeth, he wouldn't ever guess that! :) That made me feel good...but now I want it to stay that way...so do we try to get her off of the binkie before this baby comes?!!?! Is that even POSSIBLE?!?! I don't know... I'm not so convinced that she won't try to go right back to it! But we'll see!

After the "torture" of the dentist, Kamryn got a Winnie the Pooh toothbrush and got to choose a toy!
Overall, I was very pleased with the whole experience!
When we got home, Kamryn apparently felt like such a big girl, that she wanted to walk up all of our stairs to our Apartment, ALL BY HERSELF!
What a big girl she is getting to be!
And as for our other child... he is growing and growing! I'm experiencing awful growing pains this week...so I know he's got to be getting bigger! However, I love being reassured that he really is in there and kicking and growing! Only 8.5 more weeks! (And I am always hoping in the back of my mind that he will be early like Kamryn was...hehehe) :) Not too early of course!
(PS Did you find the secret message in this post?! The large letters...are the baby's name Ryan and I are leaning towards! I think we may have FINALLY decided...but it could still change!) :)
Playtime
Ryan and I have been looking for a Wii fit plus for the past month or so, and they have been sold out EVERYWHERE!!! BUT, Monday morning we found out Walmart had 2 more...so Ryan ran over there, and got the 2nd to last one! Soon after, the last one was also taken! Wahoo! :) We did it!
So, we invited Kelsey and Zac to come over and play with us!
Kelsey and Kamryn, clapping for Zac or Ryan (can't remember) on their ski jumping!
So Kamryn decided it was okay to follow Uncle Zac's example!
We decided after all that Wii playing, we needed dinner! Called up the parents to see if they wanted to join us. We ended up going to Chiles. Yummy!
Kamryn enjoyed eating her pizza from the top down! :) Guess everyone has their own way to eat pizza!
Happy Birthday Sara!
Ryan's Sister, Sara's, Birthday was on February 10th. We went out to Mimi's Cafe with the family (no pics...my bad) and then on Sunday we got together for dinner and Cheesecake! yummy! :)
Hope it was a wonderful birthday! Thanks for letting us share it with you!
Kamryn is always so fascinated by the whole "candle and singing" tradition! Kind funny to watch her for every birthday celebration.
Sara's friend came over for cake that night as well.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
