On our way to the doctors---we weren't in the car more than 5 minutes and I looked back and saw her just struggling and struggling to keep her eyes open... poor thing!
It just breaks your heart, doesn't it?!
We got to the Doctor and ended up waiting in the waiting room for 40 minutes!! Ahhh....she's hacking up a lung every 5 minutes and they can't get us back faster?!? I was a little annnoyed...but oh well. Kamryn practically fell asleep on my lap while we were waiting! (note*LOVE our Pediatrician...but he is always always sooo busy and behind!)
Went in and it was probably the best appointment we've ever had...partly because she had no energy to scream and fight with. (oh and btw she has gained 2 lbs in the past month! lol) He diagnosed her with a possible croup virus and a secondary ear infection. So we gave her the croup shot and she is now on antibiotics for her ear. Poor thing! I'm glad we got meds though. Hopefully this will all go away faster now!
Last night was a little better than the night before...but she had a harder time actually going to bed in the first place. Couldn't convince her to sleep till about 11...when WE were going to bed! BUT her fever broke last night! I was so relieved to not feel her burning hot anymore! (At the Dr. office she was up to 103 degree temp.) Thank goodness that is gone!
I think Ryan got up with her a few times through the night...what a good daddy!
This morning I had my 32 week Dr. Appointment around 10:30. Kamryn was so so miserable this morning. She cried and cried and cried when I had to give her to Ryan so I could get ready to go! She didn't want to watch anything, eat anything or play with anything...just wanted her Mommy! Then when she saw I was actually trying to GO somewhere, she totally flipped! It was so hard to resist just staying home and being with her---to hold and cuddle and comfort---with those puffy droopy eyes...but I quickly left her with Daddy and went to my appointment. (Appointment went well...baby is healthy and getting bigger...only 8 weeks left! Can't believe it!) :) While at the Dr., Ryan called me and said that Kamryn wanted to call me. (she had picked up his phone and started trying to talk on it. Ryan asked her if she wanted to call mommy and she said "yes") She didn't really talk on the phone, but I'm glad she liked it! I thought it was cute!
When I got home, she was so excited to see me...but still SO miserable. blotchy face and puffy eyes and she could barely walk! We sat down in the chair to snuggle, ate some lunch and then Daddy left for work. (Who she happily waved and said "bye bye" to... :) poor Daddy!) :)
After a difficult morning...she is finally down for a nap now...and hopefully she will be able to sleep. I think she's having a rougher time this afternoon than she did yesterday---even with the fever gone!
Thanks for all your support and comments. We really are doing okay...it's tiring, but I feel worse for her! It's never fun to see your child miserable and there isn't much you can do! I'm so grateful for current medicine and technology though...because if I had to do this 100 years ago, it'd be SO much worse! :)

I hate seeing kids miserable. I like when they fight! Poor thing. At least she has mommy to cuddle with. Let me know ifyou need anything.
Aw! Poor Kamryn! She sounds soo miserable! Hope she gets better soon!
At least she came down with it now BEFORE you have a newborn though, right?
Speaking of which, I can't believe you are already 32 weeks! Yay! Time goes by so fast!
Poor girl! I hope she feels better soon. She looks so miserable. Thank goodness for doctors and medicine!
I'm so glad for the update. It sounds like she is so, so sick. I hope you never have to go through something this bad ever again. Hang in there and hopefully tonight will be better. Your in my prayers.
You are a good mom! Ryan is a good Dad. I loved the "are you ready to get up story!"
I love you.
Mom
I can only imagine how that feels to have a sick child. I am not looking forward to that part! I worry enough about my dog let alone a child! Oh my, I hope I will be a good mother.
I hope the medicine kicks in quickly. Poor little girl. You're doing a good job mommy! Keep it up. :)
Poor little sweetie! Hope she gets feeling better really soon!
