So today has been an interesting day.
All 3 of us got something today:
Kamryn got a new DVD "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"
Ryan got a Wii Game "Wii Resort"
And I got a bruised and sore wrist while I was sleeping last night! :(
I woke up at 5am with a sore and bruised hand. I remember it hurting in my dream and then when I woke up, it was real! I don't know what happened though! It hurt so bad to move it. My thumb was unusable and I really couldn't do anything with that whole arm!
So, I've iced it all day, took pain meds, and used essential oils on it, and it seems to be a bit better...but it still aches and hurts. Weird! I just don't know what I could've done to it while I was sleeping that would hurt so bad AND I DIDN'T WAKE UP!!!
Anyway,
I'm glad Kamryn and Ryan recieved good gifts today. But I'll trade mine in for something else! :)

My Fridge is empty...
My fridge is empty but my heart is full.

This week I was able to attend BYU's Campus Education Week. This is an annual event held at BYU every year, where speakers come from all over to teach 50 minute classes on a variety of topics. These range from scripture classes, to marriage and family classes, to home organization, to education, to parenting, to forgiveness and mercy, to gardening, to repentance, to music and dancing, etc. Just about anything that is wholesome, good and uplifting. Nobody under age 14 is allowed in, and it costs only $50 for the whole week. I think about 22,000 attended this year.
Because I have a 1 year old, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to attend. But I haven't been in a few years and wanted to go this year. Well, with a flexible and willing husband, and wonderful Grandma's who live nearby, we worked out a schedule for the week, where they would watch Kamryn at different times while I went to be uplifted and taught.
And I have done just that!
It has been a WONDERFUL week! What a blessing it has been to attend these classes that are so applicable to my life right now. I can already feel my heart changing in the way I think about others, the way I see my home, the way I treat my husband and little girl, and the way I look toward the future! I've attended 3 classes a day this week.
Topics were:
1. Male and Female Created He Them: Understanding, Honoring and Bridging Gender Differences
2. Simplify and Beautify your lives
3. Saving the Family--communication, marriage, parenting, personal/family boundaries
I learned a lot and hopefully I'll be able to apply some of the teachings into each and every day!

Princess Kelsey
So I haven't been able to get any pictures from my mom or aunt from the Luncheon or the Reception yet, but here's some temple pictures from that morning and bridals from before the wedding!
Coming out of the Temple:

She's so happy!! He loves her!!

My Uncle did her wedding portraits, as he did mine. You can find more of his work at meauxphotography.com. Here are some of the beautiful bridals they did before the wedding day!

It was a beautiful day, although rainy, and we had to do the reception at the church but it looked like we had planned on that all along! It was perfect. These two are perfect for eachother. It was a wonderful experience to be a part of!
(And isn't she just GORGEOUS!!!?!?!! Those colors are SO her!) :)
Love you Kels! (I can't wait till they get back from the Honeymoon!)

Our mini "2nd honeymoon"...
Ryan and I took a quick getaway this past weekend to.... can you guess?!!? Disneyland! :)
(I know...I know....AGAIN!) But this time it was just the 2 of us! No baby with us. She "decided" to stay home with Grandma Seamons this time! :)
It was a great trip! I think I'm getting sick of the drive every time though, because I had the hardest time driving so far there AND back! Usually it doesn't bother me so much...I think it may have something to do with how often I've done it this year! :(
Anyway, here are some highlights from the trip:

Entering Disneyland

Celebrating at Disneyland! (Since their theme is "Celebrate" this year...that's what we're gonna do!) :)

Our first stop: Space Mountain! We always hit Tomorrowland first. It's Ryan's favorite...and I don't really have a "favorite"! I like everything! :) (Although I think Space mountain is probably the favorite ride in Tomorrowland!) :)

Second stop: Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (Ryan loves this game. He loves the element of competition on rides like this! I never do very well...but this trip, I actually beat him once! I hit a 50,000 point place twice! He was a very good sport about it too!) :) (I need to fix this picture...he's standing in front of the astroblaster car if you can't tell!) :)
We splurged a little this trip and ate at Carnation Cafe (which I don't have pictures of...boo on me!) and the Blue Bayou (which I DO have pictures of!) :)
Carnation Cafe was good and relatively affordable. (for meals at D-land). The best best best thing there and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO good was the Fully Loaded Baked Potato Soup! It was so yummy! (I still can't believe I don't have a picture of it! If I had one to show you, I'm SURE you'd be hooked without even tasting it!!) :) haha
Blue Bayou the next day:

Us in front of the Blue Bayou sign (I'll have to fix this picture too....)

Our Monte Cristo Sandwich that we split. It was yummy but I could only eat 1/4 of it and Ryan ate 1/2...we couldn't finish it. It's soooooo rich and deep fried! But soooo yummy too! :)

Grizzly Rapids: Get a fast pass and use it in the middle of the day when it is 90 degrees or more out ... it's the perfect ride for that temperature! We got wet, wet, wet! :)
MY favorite ride: Tower of Terror (TOT) I love the dropping and freefall feeling in my stomach...it makes me giddy! :)

I'm so proud of Ryan for putting his arms in the air!! :) (usually he's making fun of me for being a "crazy daredevil"! :) lol)
Ryan's favorite Ride: Toy Story Midway Mania (I could do a whole post on just this ride!!) :)

Ryan loves this ride also because of the gaming and competitive nature of it. It is a bunch of carnival games all put together, 3D (so you have to wear the funny glasses), and there are secrets in each level that give you more points. I think we rode it 5 or 6 times over 2 days!

Our first scores: me with 200,200 and Ryan with 251,400. Not bad. (I think that was the highest Ryan had ever gotten before!)

But the greatest thing was that we made it to the top 3 of the day! (the ride had only been open for like 45 minutes, but still!!) :) It REALLY made me happy to be on the top 3 because I'm not very good at it!! :)
The next time we played wasn't as good.

I'm consistent though! Sorry Ry! :)

We switched sides this time...Ryan did better ... me not so much!

And it was later in the day now, so we had no chance of being up on the top 3 list! Man...I still can't figure out how to do that well!
So Ryan decided to look it up on his smart phone while we were in line again! What a nerd! :) (A nerd that I love however!) :)

Our next time was my favorite:

We both did really well and we TIED!!! :) What are the chances of that happening!!?!
One more time and it was time to go home:

I didn't do so well this time, but congrats Ryan on getting your top score ever!! :)
After 2 full FULL days...we were pooped! Ryan couldn't get off the bed when we'd come home at night! :) I had to nag him to get ready for bed! :)

Our wonderful friend and hostess, Lori! She is awesome and we love to go and stay with her everytime we visit!
And now we're home again with our wonderful little baby....toddler....more posts up ahead!

Oh no, not the Doctor!
Yes, the doctor. Kamryn had her 12 month checkup appointment yesterday and overall it went well, but she was not happy with anyone! (except mom!)
The nurse walked in to just take measurements and Kamryn lost it!! I think she was sorta tired still since she had just taken a nap right before we left. I kept thinking, "This isn't even the bad part!"
The doctor came in just as Kamryn was settling down, she was okay until she had to get up on the table again.
Then the nurse had to come back in to redo measurements (since Kamryn was so squirmy earlier!) and then ANOTHER NURSE had to come in and give Kamryn 4 shots. (2 in each leg). She was already so upset with the nurse even being there, that she didn't even cry harder when she actually got poked! funny girl!
Stats:
Wt: 22 lbs 10 oz (75th percentile)
Ht: 29 in. (60th percentile)
Head size: 98th percentile! (the doctor was unsure about this so he wanted it redone but I think the second reading was about right. Funny!)
She also has a yeast infection right now and a cold. Poor thing. But she doesn't seem to bothered by either so that's good!
She's healthy and going strong--living life to its fullest!
