First Toothbrush!

Kamryn has her 2 bottom teeth completely grown in now, so we decided while we were at Target the other day, that we needed to get her a toothbrush. We got her one with piglet on it and Baby Einstein toothpaste! They're both so so cute!

Here's what Kamryn thought of it the first time!

She LOVES IT! With or without toothpaste! But she's also good natured when we take it away too! What a good baby!

Smoothies!

Ryan and I have always enjoyed making smoothies in the summertime when all the strawberries and raspberries are at Costco! :) BUT we've never had good "Smoothie Glasses" to enjoy them with. Nothing big enough or sturdy enough! SO, another graduation present I found for Ryan were some Smoothie Glasses! We went home that very night and made smoothies! They were so yummy!!

BUT we had a sad loss this week...we were making smoothies again last Saturday and our Blender just died! It just quit. No funny sounds, no nothing! Just nothing! We were very sad. We had to pour our halfway made smoothie into a bowl and eat it like runny ice cream with big chunks of strawberries in it! haha (and I had a picture but I can't find it ANYWHERE!! uh oh! I wonder what other pictures are missing with it! Dang!)

Anyway, so needless to say, we are in the market for a new blender!

Graduation Presents!

So, Ryan and I have been truly blessed in the past few months for both of us to be able to finish up with school and that Ryan was able to not only get a job, but one he LOVES! (More about that specifically later!)

But with some gift money from Grandparents and others for graduation, as well as our own money for ourselves, we treated ourselves to a couple of "bigger" things: a computer desk from Office Max and a 26" flat-screen TV from Costco! :)

Ryan is such a handy-man on furniture AND computers!

Putting the desk together requires help from Kamryn!

The almost finished product: (the backside of it at least)

And tada! Our workstation at home! :)
We love it!

We also ordered a TV as I explained above, and it FINALLY showed up yesterday! We love it! It's fun! I haven't gotten a picture yet, but the coolest thing is that it has a DVD player inside it, so our room now gets a TV and DVD player! Yay yay! :)

Multiple Posts today!!

If you have time...look through the next 4 posts! All brand new...just for you!! :)

Graduation Celebration!

So, the plan was originally for my family and Ryan's family to drive to Logan on Saturday, May 2nd for my graduation ceremony. But by May 1st I was STILL student teaching and I was just BURNT OUT! I didn't want to drive all the way to Logan, sit in a long ceremony, go out to dinner and drive back. So, I decided to celebrate graduating by taking out all the driving and the long ceremony, and go to a movie and dinner instead! :) Sounds MUCH more fun to me! :)

So, my parents, my grandma, my sister and her boyfriend, my cousin Aimee, Ryan and I went to see "17 Again". It was very cute. And Ryan and I are big Zac Efron and Matthew Perry fans, so that helped! :)

Then we all met up with Ryan's family to go to dinner at Carrabbas. (An AWESOME Italian restaurant in Orem! Ryan and I have been there 3 times now and have loved it every time!!) :) Kamryn LOVES the bread there too! :) It's a wonderful dining experience overall, so if you've never been... you should try it! :)

The whole crew! (Although, after we took the picture we realized Ryan's brother, Eric, was in the restroom...oops!) :)

Kamryn sitting with Grandad after we were all done eating!

"Who has me?" I love this picture because she really was passed around quite a bit that night! :)

It was a great way to celebrate graduation!

First Popsicles

We ran to Target for a few things for the apartment and I decided to try Target brand Popsicles. When we got home I decided to try one...Kamryn wanted to try it too!

Mmmmm... That's good!

Don't take it away!!! No, come back!

This is yummy, Dad! (Behind the camera)

Mommy wants a turn--I gotta keep my eye on it though!

Mommy sharing HER popsicle!

I can hold it now, Mom!

Funny girl!
(And of course our lips were blue afterwards! no picture though... :( what was I thinking?!) :)

Stranger Anxiety

Kamryn has hit the stage in life where strangers (or people she doesn't see often enough) are scary. She'll get shy and put her head down on my shoulder or Ryan's shoulder if an unfamiliar female says hi to her. If it is a male, however, she SCREAMS!!! It has gotten better over the past month, meaning she doesn't scream as much anymore, but it was so funny the first couple of times it happened!

For example, I was with her at Wal mart maybe a month ago and we were in the checkout line. There was an older gentleman behind us and he caught Kamryn's eye. She sat there for the longest time watching him wave at her and baby-talk to her, then suddenly she started SCREAMING like she was in pain! I just laughed and the man laughed and I told him "It's okay. She's really tired and just fussy today" but he replied, "No. I'm just awful. I do the same thing to my grandkids!" I thought that was funny. Kamryn kept crying and crying and crying until we got into the car and drove away! Funny girl!

She has even been afraid of Kelsey's friend, Tyler, multiple times. She wouldn't even take food from him the other night, which is unusual for Kamryn--who never refuses food! :) BUT then a couple of days later, Kelsey and Tyler came to visit and play with Kamryn. This is what happened!

Sitting with Aunt Kelsey...

Let's try to sit with Tyler...

Ok! I'm good here with a cell phone! :)

It was so cute! Tyler and Kelsey were SO surprised! Maybe Kamryn is just tempermental! If you give me something I want more, I don't care WHO you are! :)
