Happy....umm...Kamryn! Look over here!

Ok...Happy 4th.... smile Kamryn! Smile!!

Kamryn...the camera is right here!

No...don't cry! Smile!

There's a happy girl!

Happy 4th of July!! :)

Fun Summer Times!

It is officially Summertime! (July...it better be!!) It is about 90 degrees everyday now and I just got my Seven Peaks pass last week! Yay! Now Kamryn and I can go play in the water whenever we want! My goal is to go at least once a week...and last week was our first time! We go with my friend Nicole and her little girl, Sammie.

Here are the girls playing before we went. All ready to go! (We had to postpone going for a little bit because it was raining at the time we were going to go!) They didn't mind though! (In a couple years they will!) :)

They had fun playing with eachother...

Reading books with eachother...

And going after the camera!

I didn't get any pictures at Seven Peaks because I forgot my camera and it isn't waterproof...(I really need a water digital camera! That should be next on my list of big purchases!!) :) Anyway, so you'll have to imagine fun pictures in the water for now! :)

Bathtime is Always fun!!

Kamryn has always loved bathtime...but since she has been growing like a weed lately, she doesn't fit in her blue tub anymore and now she gets to use the BIG BATHTUB!! :)

BUT that also means that she has found a new fun toy----the drain! :) She's so funny! She'll pull the plug and then when I tell her no, she'll drop it again. She'll take it out and put it back in over and over and over again. Then ...when the water is all gone--she STILL is happy and content to play in the tub! :) Funny girl!

Where's your water, silly baby?!!

Here's a video of our little drain game! :)

Oquirrh Temple Open House

Last week, Ryan Kamryn and I went with my family to visit the new temple in the Salt Lake Valley. It was Beautiful! Kind of a smaller LDS Temple, but very pretty. It was tall and skinny--and more cream colored than white. It kind of reminded me of the Los Angeles temple in California with it's coloring--but the LA temple is probably 4 times as big!

We went around 7pm so by the time we got out, the sun was setting and it was gorgeous for pictures! See what I mean?! :)

Ryan and I haven't made time in our busy schedules to attend the temple much recently, but this last Friday we finally went again and it was wonderful! The temple is so peaceful and so beautiful. It really is a heaven on earth! I'm so grateful I get to share that with the man I love!

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

One of the sweetest and most romantic things Ryan has ever done for me and that I've always remembered was how he asked me to Homecoming our Junior year of High School. He creatively made up a "12 days of Homecoming". He left something on my doorstep everyday for 12 days and made up a cute little poem to go with it all! It was so cute and so romantic and so memorable!
I thought nothing could ever top it.... but he has proved me wrong!

Yesterday I was doing some work for our apartment complex and Ryan went to work early. Then he called me and said I needed to take off today's post-it on my countdown calendar he made me earlier this month.

I thought: "ok...I wonder why he's so specific about me doing it today. He hasn't been particular any other day."

My countdown Calendar!

I turned over the 1 day away sticky note-- and it said "Look under the Computer"

Under the computer, there was a sticky note with a poem that led me to "the pinkest thing in my Disney Kitchen".

I looked in my Pink Kitchen Aid and found a Scentsy Wax Bar (Lavender scent...my favorite!) and another sticky note that led me to the cork board where "The key to my next clue would be found"

Sure enough...there was our mailbox key hanging there!

I went out to the mailbox and found this:

I found a card wrapped in pink tissue paper! It was a very sweet card and the post it note on the outside told "The Princess to go pack for an overnight ball..."! I was so excited...and soooo curious! :)
I went upstairs to pack. (This is where my hubby just knows me SO well!!) I Got clothes, got shoes, socks...etc and then went to the bathroom. The LAST thing I packed in our bathroom bags was in the bottom drawer...and I also found another sticky note and some cd's/movies.

The sticky note told me to remember to pack some movies (and that we'd stop by the "King and Queen's" house for more (mom and dad's)) :) So I started gathering some movies and the LAST movie I grabbed was "Marley and Me". Funny thing is...that one had a sticky note with more instructions on it!!

This note told me that the "Knights at Maceys could help me out to find some movie treats!" My keys to my horses were in the coffee table drawer! :) I found the car keys and went and found the car (where he had HID it on the other side of the building! I thought he'd taken it to work!) I ran to Maceys, got some groceries and then texted "my prince" (as he'd directed with the sticky notes) to see what my next instructions were!! :) He sent me to a store down the street---it happened to be a flower shop! :) I went in and asked the girl for something I was supposed to pick up. She handed me a bag of flower petals and a beautiful yellow and pink rose (like my wedding roses!) :)

Ryan was proud of it because he picked it out himself! (I love roses that are still mostly closed and the yellow with pink outlines are my favorite!!) :)

Then I went to pick up "my prince" from work and we were off on our adventure to go to our overnight ball! :)

First we went to dinner at Mimi's Cafe'. So yummy! We had a gift card to use that Ryan's Aunt gave us as a graduation present...so we decided to use it! Saving money is always good! :)

Then we drove up to SLC and ended up at The Anniversary Inn! (Where we stayed our Wedding Night! Ah!) We checked in and went up to our room and this is what we saw:

The French Canopy Suite! It was beautiful! So pretty! :) And it was a wonderful night! My parents had the baby and Ryan and I got to relive part of our honeymoon! What a wonderful anniversary that will always be at the top of my list!! (Until he does something else even more creative and romantic!) ;)

I'm just so grateful that I'm married to my best friend! He is the greatest friend, greatest husband, greatest father I could ever ask for! He is a wonderful example to me and our family. He is such a hard worker and so determined to do his best in everything he does! I'm so grateful that we met 8 years ago, have worked through problems through high school...college...and are now happily married and graduated parents! I'm grateful for Ryan's testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and that he knows the importance of family. Ryan, I love you! Thank you for a wonderful 2 years of marriage so far and I'm excited to see what our future holds! I'm glad I get to spend eternity with you! Thank you for always making me laugh and letting me cry on your shoulder when I need to!

Funny Story

Kamryn's favorite movie is "Baby Songs". The Hap Palmer songs put to video--made in the early 80's...yeah. She won't watch anything else, but this catches her attention ALWAYS and doesn't really ever get old!

Well, when I ask her if she wants to watch it, I'll show her the DVD case, and she'll get excited and look at the TV.

Well, Yesterday I asked her without the case and she went over to the TV, and looked like she started trying to look under the TV stand. I thought that was strange...but we kept playing for a little while. Then I asked her again and she went to the TV and tried to reach under the TV stand. I finally went over there and stuck my hand under the stand, and where she couldn't quite reach I found...the Baby Songs DVD case!

I thought that was pretty smart for an 11 month old! She must have stuck it under there the last time she was watching it! (Which I think was the day before!) I laughed and laughed! She looked like a puppy trying to uncover something in the dirt but can't quite do it on her own! :)

Happy Birthday Ashley!

My cousin, Ashley, and I are only 3 months apart--her June, me September. We've had years that we were best of friends and years that we weren't....but overall it's always been fun to have cousins close to your own age.

And I've always remembered her birthday is on June 24th! Every year I think about it...even if I don't do anything for it! :) But this year I wanted to post and say "Happy Birthday!" Love you and I miss you being here in Provo! We didn't even see each other all that much, but we finally lived in the same town! :) haha

u

(I have some more pictures of us (young and old) that I wanted to include here but I don't have them right now! I'll have to go searching!) Love ya Ash!
