Well, in the event of Kamryn turning 1, she had FOUR birthday parties this year! Party #1 was on the 4th of July and I already blogged about that here, but the other 3 I wanted to also give the same glamour, because they were all very fun! :)
Birthday Party #2: Great Grandparents in Northern Idaho.
July 15-20th, Kamryn and I went up to Northern Idaho to visit my dad's parents. We went with my mom and 4 of my siblings. It was very fun to see them again. We went up last summer when Kamryn was brand new, so that they could meet her, but they haven't seen her since. And since she changed completely in just a year, we decided to go again. While we were there, Grandma made her a cake and we had a little bday party for her. She loved it! :)
We had a combined bday party for Kamryn and Uncle Ryan, since their bdays are only 4 days apart! (Happy Bday Ryan, today!! He's on a scout 50 mile hike this week so I can't call him but there, I wished him happy birthday!!) :)

Kamryn loves the attention she gets every time we sing happy birthday to her. But she was unsure about what to do with this cake in front of her. So we had Ryan show her with his. Then she dove in! :)

Yummy Yummy! We just don't like getting cleaned up!
This isn't a great picture of Kamryn with her great-grandparents, but it's all I have right now. (Maybe my mom has a better one!) Kamryn with the baby-doll accessory pack they gave her for her bday.

We opened it up and Kamryn started thinking some of the stuff was for her!

That's not your binky, sweetheart!

Not your bottle either!! :)
We had a great few days with Grandma and Papa. I'll post more about the trip and our adventures up there another time!
Birthday Party #3: My immediate family and Ryan's immediate family
When I was growing up, my mom always made cute cakes for us on our bdays. I had a little mermaid one, a barbie doll, a winnie the pooh shaped, a dog shaped, etc. I wanted to do the same thing for Kamryn (and I have had no cake decorating experience in my life!!) Here's what the end result was for her Balloon Birthday Party:

I was pretty impressed with myself!! :)

Ryan's Aunt Laurie bought Kamryn the hairbow she is wearing. It is a magenta-ish pink with brown leopard print! It is the cutest thing ever, but I have had a hard time finding something for Kamryn to wear it with! I finally just invested in some white tops for her and it worked out pretty well! Thanks Laurie! :)
Because it was a balloon party, I bought a bunch of helium balloons and then a bunch of regular balloons that we blew up. Kamryn was pointing left and right saying "Boo, boo" (meaning balloon). It was so fun to watch her enjoy everything around her!

Singing happy Birthday! So much attention...probably 20+ people there and everyone has their eye on her! :) (sorry the video is sideways...I just love her face though!!) :)
Loving her cake!

Even with a bib on, she had cake down her pants and her diaper and caked all over her arms and legs. I was just going to rinse her off but she ended up taking a bath.... in the sink!! :)

Funny baby! It's the perfect size for her though! :) She loved it!!
When it was time to get out, she didn't want to get out. I'd put out my hands for her to come to me and she'd put her head down in the sink! It was so funny! She loves bathtime at home, but she's never refused to come out! Silly girl! I guess this was just the most fun bath she's ever had! :)
Kamryn and Aunt Kylie! (I had to put this picture in because the next day Kylie left for BYU Hawaii. Good luck, Ky!)

After getting out of the bath and drying off, it's time to open presents! Kamryn was spoiled rotten---but I wasn't surprised at all! :) She loved everything she got! She had to be convinced to open the next present! :)

Kamryn and Daddy, digging out presents from Grandma Seamons.

This bunny rabbit was from Aunt Krista. Kamryn is so funny, when she opens something she shares it. What a good girl!

Kamryn and all her presents: 3 puzzles, 5 books, 1 DVD, 1 stuffed animal, 1 shape sorter and 2 outfits!! Wow!
Birthday Party #4: The Littlest Friend Birthday Party Ever!
On Kamryn's actual birthday, I decided to invite some of our friends who have kids Kamryn's age, to come to our house for a small party. I blew up some more balloons, made another cake, brought the helium balloons from the night before to our apartment and it worked out pretty well.
Kamryn, playing with balloons, waiting for her friends to arrive. (Wearing the outfit Aunt Kelsey got her for her birthday the night before!)

The Four Friends! :) I love this!

Davin 13 mos, Kamryn 12 mos, Samantha 9 mos, and Cassie 18 mos.
I made another cake for this party and cupcakes (easier for little kids to eat)! Not as fancy because I didn't have time or energy! I was about all partied out!

Kamryn, enjoying her cupcake!

Kamryn opening some presents from her friends. The little kids were actually really good about just playing and watching Kamryn open her gifts. It was cute to see them all interact.

Ryan and I decided to get Kamryn one bigger gift for her bday because we knew she'd get a bunch of other things from other family and friends. BUT Because Kamryn's bday is on Pioneer Day (a Utah Holiday) we weren't sure if it would be delivered in time! But that morning, it showed up on our doorstep! Yay! :)
Ryan put it together before the party. I almost forgot about it but then remembered at the very end of all the gifts. I brought it out and all 4 kids were so excited! They all dashed toward it and it worked out nicely because there was room for all 4 of them to play with it! :)

Bringing out the kitchen/living room play center!

Everyone enjoying it! :)

Kamryn loves it!

Then we all went swimming for the end of the party. (Samantha had to go home and take a nap though...we were sad to see her go, but I totally understand! Kamryn kinda needed a nap at that point too, but it was HER party!)! :)

(This isn't the greatest picture...but I'm glad we took it. I don't think we have a picture of all of us with our kids!) :)

Kamryn with her presents from her friend party:
Kitchen/LR playset, book, shape-sorter-barn and a package of farm animals! Thank you for such nice gifts! She loves them!
Happy Birthday Kamryn! You are a loved little girl! :)

That balloon cake was fantastic! What a fun idea. I may have to steal that one for my kids...when they come. :)
Happy Birthday to Kamryn! What a lucky little girl to have so many people want to celebrate with her! You made her first birthday a memorable one, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing it all! Give her a hug and a birthday squeeze from Aunt Tami. :D
I can't believe that! This year flew. What a lucky girl to have so many parties. She's loved, that's for sure!
I love the cake you made her, I'll have to hire you from now on. Here's the schedule in which I want them to be made: April, June, July, August, and September. :)
Okay, I just read my mom's comment and thought it was funny how we kinda said the same thing!
