I know I've posted a lot today...but... I just realized that I've now had this blog for a whole year and I just had to do a one year "anniversary" post! :)
I love blogging! :)

Ryan's Christmas
About the beginning of November I emailed Ryan's mom and we found the perfect Christmas present for Ryan. Ryan isn't the biggest fan of surprises--he hates not knowing-- :) BUT he had no idea what was coming! Here he is opening his gift.
So...we're off to Ohio tomorrow night to see his grandparents for a few days! He is very excited and can't quite grasp that it is real yet! :) I love Christmas! :)

Our Family's Stocking (put together by Ryan's Mom)

Kamryn was excited about her Santa gift only for a few minutes--then she saw wrapping paper and Candy!! No more toys for her! :)
Kamryn is very loved! Look at all her presents from Mommy and Daddy and Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Sara and Uncle Eric and Great Grandparents...the list goes on and on and on of people who love her!
Books from Sara and Eric
Train and other Baby Einstein things and Belle Barbie from Grandma and Grandpa.
Another Baby Einstein CD from Aunt Darla
Clothes, a Halloween costume for next year and Simba from Mommy and Daddy.
Playing with her toys! She loves this ball because it's easy to hold! :)

Our Five Month Old Kamryn
Today Kamryn turned 5 months old. She can...
- Babble about anything and everything
- Sleep in the car
- Hold her own bottle
- eat baby cereal (getting better still every day)
- Reach out for things
- Grab onto things and sometimes put them in her mouth
- Recognize what is food
- Laugh when we tickle and play with her
- Play Cards!

- Sit up on her own (Newest development!) :)

- Recognize Mommy and Daddy as people she knows
- Watch everything around her.
- Go to Disneyland!!!!!

- Hold her head up when on her tummy and reach out to grab toys
- Almost roll over from tummy to back and back to tummy
- Suck and gnaw on her index finger and thumb! (a habit I don't want to continue!) :)
- Smile at anyone who will give her attention! :)

Growing Up!
As you can see from my header, Kamryn is starting solid foods. She is still practicing with the cereal ... but as of 2 weeks ago, she is not nursing anymore. At first I was a little anxious about stopping nursing and just doing formula full time, but I got to the point that I just didn't have enough milk and was always giving her a bottle to finish off eating every time. AND I'm going back to school in January so we decided that it would be an opportune time to start her on solids. (AND she has NEVER had a hard time with a bottle! Thank goodness!)
Then when we got to California two weeks ago, Kamryn wouldn't nurse anymore. She decided she was done.
I thought it would be tough, but it's actually been really nice to not worry about it anymore. I'm glad I nursed for 4.5 months, but she is healthy and strong and happy...so life is good.
