I worked until 9:30 (and let me tell you, working and waiting for a call any second (and not getting one) isn't fun!), but when I walked in the door Trina told me that contractions had just started. They weren't looking like a lot of fun, so we jumped in the car and made it to the hospital just before 10:00. She was having contractions every 3-4 minutes, and for the next hour or so, we were hating life. Let's just say that labor is not fun (and I'm telling that second hand).
But eventually Rick, the anesthesiologist, came and afterwards Katrina said that he was her new best friend. Since the epidural, life hasn't been too bad.
Trina's water broke at 1:15 ... and she went from 4 cm to 5.5 cm to 7 cm ... and now at 2:55 she's 8 cm and so close. The nurse (Ana) said that once she's all ready, they'll let her sit for awhile and let the contractions push the baby furthur down (to make the pushing part shorter).
Anyway, it's really exciting and by next post we should have the newest member of the family to show you. Life comes at you fast. We can't even say how excited we are to be parents. Thanks for all of you that are such good examples and who will be continuing to cheer us along.

If you can dream it, you can do it.
