Doctor's Visits

This week we had another enjoyable doctor's appointment. (Can that sentence be true?!) :) jk

It actually went well and I'm glad to report all is well with the baby. She is actively kicking all the time now--making me somewhat sore--but it's all worth it to me so that I know that she is alive and well in there. As they were measuring me and her, the doctor told us we are going to have a larger than average sized baby! Average in America is about 7 lbs 3 oz or so (as I've been told) so we'll see. My first two thoughts were: 1) well then, maybe she could come earlier!! (but the doctor turned that one down really fast! Weight apparently doesn't have much to do with how fast my body is ready for labor. Dang!) and 2) That doesn't sound very comfortable. I'm a small person and even a small baby won't have much room in me! What a fun 2 months I have to look forward to until she comes! :)

But even with this news, we are happy because she is healthy and we are just excitedly waiting for her to be ready to come!

Anniversary

Not quite one year yet but close!

Today is our 11 month anniversary. Hard to believe almost a year has gone by! But it has been a wonderful year!

Today also marks 31 weeks along. Only 9 weeks left and Kamryn will be with us! We are getting so anxious and excited! I think she is too--she kicks and kicks me everyday now! :)

Life is wonderful. We are trying to live each day to its fullest and not anticipate the future so much that we forget the present!

We are as happy as ever!

Donuts!

So--throughout the pregnancy I have experienced many different cravings for different kinds of food. And I'm starting to notice that I go through phases.

The first trimester I didn't have a sweet tooth at all! I didn't like candy, cookies, desserts, etc. It was easy to eat healthy cuz that's all that sounded good.

2nd trimester I was sick on and off and lost my breakfast once--so I was just careful. I didn't really crave anything--it was just kinda a blah time of life.

Now--3rd trimester--I'm finding myself wanting sweets (or sweet things) all of the time! I think I wake up every morning and want a donut! :) Finally Ryan and I went and got a dozen to last for 4 days!

BUT...then one day Ryan was eating a donut and I was eating mine. I ate mine all up within the time that Ryan took like 2 bites---so then I stole his and took a bite! He grabbed the camera to prove that I had taken HIS donut!

I promise I'm not rude and I have self-control...but it just looked so good!

Anyway, it was funny! just a great memory to look back on again and again. We still laugh everytime we think about how obsessive I have been about donuts lately. But I think that craving is wearing off now. We'll see what comes next! :)

I know this is the 2nd entry today, but I've been meaning to catch up on stuff from this last week and now I'm finally finding a chance to do it! :)

We are very excited--getting anxious!

Aug 2nd can't come fast enough for us or our little Kamryn.

Our new home!

Last Saturday (well, 2 Sat ago now) Ryan and I moved from our first little basement apartment to another complex in Provo, only about a mile away. We found a part time management position here which will help us pay off rent and we're not underground anymore! so we thought it was a pretty good deal! :)





Anyway, I just wanted to post pictures of the Branbury apartment on here because every day we are here, we just feel so blessed! We love it here. It almost feels like we're on vacation being here because it is nice carpet, nice furniture, and a really nice view outside--trees, grass, and the Provo River right out our balcony window! :) Pretty nice for a student apartment! :)





We are so grateful that we found this place and made it affordable for ourselves.

Two shots of our one bedroom (only downside for this apartment). BUT we have "our" side of the room...and then the princess side of the room for the baby! :) (Ryan is such a good guy to let me make half our bedroom very pink!)


oh, and we went to the married student ward here for the first time yesterday and it was fun! A little weird because we've been in a family ward since we got married, but it kinda feels like the single ward atmosphere all over again--except now everyone talks about graduate degrees and kids--not dating! :)

Here's my first try at a layout. The right side needs to change because it is WAY too hard to read...but all in all I'm impressed with myself! :) I didn't think I could do it! :)
